Love is in the Air is a yearly event in World of Warcraft, celebrated around Valentine's Day. It's a chance to spread some cheer, earn unique rewards, and maybe even spark some in-game romance.
As always, the festivities will kick off with visits to Lovely Merchant vendors in major cities like Stormwind and Orgrimmar. Here, players can start earning Love Tokens through daily quests involving sharing gifts and confections. These tokens can then be redeemed for adorable mounts, fun toys, sweetheart-themed gear, and more from the merchants. Love Tokens are the currency that fuels all your romantic (and sassy) endeavors during Dragonflight Valentine's Day event 2024. Earn them through daily quests, charming bracelets, and faction missions. Dragonflight's Love is in the Air comes packed with charming quests to spread the love! Here's a breakdown of the different kinds you'll encounter:
Main City Dailies: Offered by Qwee Q. Petalsong in Stormwind and Flirt Finagle in Orgrimmar, these dailies involve tasks like spreading love-dust, dancing for admirers, or delivering gifts to important figures.
Zone Dailies: Each Dragonflight zone boasts unique daily quests. In Valdrakken, you might help love-struck drakes overcome their shyness, while in Thaldraszus you could organize a romantic picnic for centaurs.
Crown Chemical Co. Questline: This special quest chain, starting with "Suspicious Supplies" in Valdrakken, unravels a comedic plot involving love potions gone wrong.
Lovely Charm Bracelet: Complete this daily quest from any main city, collecting Love Charms from slain mobs to craft a bracelet offering potential rewards.
Faction Quests: Depending on your allegiance, complete "A Gift for the High Priestess of Elune" (Alliance) or "A Gift for the Lord of Ironforge" (Horde) to earn extra Tokens.
How to Farm Lovely Charms?
-Get the Lovely Charm Collector's Kit by speaking with Kwee Q. Peddlefeet in any of your faction's capital cities.
-With the Kit in your inventory, defeat enemies that provide experience or honor. Lovely Charms will have a chance to drop from these enemies.
-The best places recommended to farm Lovely Charms are areas with many low health enemies that are within your level range, allowing you to aoe pull and kill them quickly.
-Suggested level 60 farming spots include any Torghast wing on Layer 1.
-Suggested level 50 farming spots include Moonclaw Vale in Val'sharah, Gloaming Reef in Val'sharah, and Saltsea Droplets in Eye of Azshara.
-Level 45 farming spots include The Everbloom dungeon.
-Ideal classes for farming are those that can continuously pull and aoe damage mobs from a distance, such as Death Knights, Druids and Hunters.

This ultimate goal grants you the prestigious title "The Love Fool" and requires completing several other achievements (listed below).
Be Mine!: Craft and equip one of each Lovely Charm Bracelet (requires several bracelets).
Charming: Complete 10 Valentine's Day daily quests.
Dangerous Love: Defeat Cupidsto (a special event boss) while wearing the "Winking Eye of Love" trinket.
Flirt With Disaster (Alliance) or Flirt With Disaster (Horde): Charm and defeat a member of the opposite faction in Stromwind or Orgrimmar, respectively, while under the effects of a Love Potion.
I Pitied The Fool: Defeat five different bosses while under the effects of a Love Potion. (These include Wintergrasp bosses, Naxxramas bosses, and more)
Lonely?: Complete a Valentine's Day daily quest while solo.
Lovely Luck Is On Your Side: Open 10 Lovely Charm Gift Boxes and get lucky with at least one epic item.
My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose: Deliver a rose to each major city's Love Ambassador.
Shafted!: Get hit by the Heartthrob Grenade toy.
Tough Love: Complete the Crown Chemical Co. questline.
Perma-Peddle: Ride the Love Rocket mount for 10 minutes straight.
X-45 Heartbreaker: Break three hearts by declining romantic advances during the event.
They Really Love Me!: Achieve 10,000 reputation with the Lovely Merchants during the event.
Dragonflight Love is in the Air Event Tips
The event boss players will encounter during the Love is in the Air celebration is Apothecary Hummel, who is located in Shadowfang Keep. In order to queue for this single boss battle, players must first reach level 16 or above. They can then access the fight through the Dungeon Finder tool by changing the dropdown menu to select "The Crown Chemical Co.", which will place them in the queue. Alternatively, players can speak directly to the dungeon master NPC Steamwheedle Shyster, who can be found in all of the major city hubs.
How to Defeat them?
Apothecary Hummel is an Arcanist type boss that will use various magic spells against players. He prefers to cast at range, so melee DPS may want to save mobility/closing abilities to get in close when possible. Tanks should face Hummel away from the group to protect others from cone attacks. Healers may want to save cooldowns for high damage phases and dispel magic effects on allies as needed. DPS should focus fire Hummel down as quickly as his spells can become deadly if allowed to cast uninterrupted.
Phase 1 is a burn phase where players can nuke him down fast. Be aware of Unstable Mana which deals group damage periodically. Once players get him to 70% health, he'll run away and summon adds called Volatile Mana and Unbound Mana. DPS and CC these while staying spread out to avoid AOE effects.
In Phase 2, Hummel will re-emerge and bombard players from range. Interrupts on his casts like Polymorph are important here. Stays spread for his Mana Bomb ground effect circles. If adds survive into Phase 2, players may want to burn them fast before switching focus back to the boss. Coordinate CC and interrupts to shut Hummel down quickly and earn valuable Love is in the Air drops!
