Today, we're going to talk about crafting minion gloves in Path of Exile 3.22 Trial of Ancestors. When we say crafting minion gloves, it means crafting the best POE 3.22 minion gloves for any type of budget as well as any type of minion build that uses a rare pair of gloves. Because the crafting process is exactly the same across the board for all minion builds with the difference being the approach that you take in the midsection of the crafting process. Now crafting can be a bit daunting in many cases, according to YouTuber GhazzyTV, we're going to talk about the easy and fast way to craft the best gloves for any minion build in POE 3.22.
How To Craft Minion Gloves In POE 3.22?
Step 1 - Pair of Gloves
To craft the low end of Minion gloves is very simple and that would be to take a pair of gloves and then simply use Essences of Fear. The higher the tier, the better the minion damage you get on the gloves. This is a prefix modifier, a rare item can have 3 prefixes and 3 suffixes. Attributes and resistances are suffix modifiers and defensive stats live energy shield, and elevation armor are prefixes, but minion damage is also prefixed. For Minion builds what we're looking for is a life or energy shield depending on the approach you're running. As a prefix with a minion damage and then the suffixes would either be a combination of resistances or resistance and attributes mostly looking at the dexterity.
For energy basis, we're looking at intelligence. A low-bodied version of a glove would take a search and do a count group of one. We're looking for fractured life with 80 plus and you can get all the way up to 89. Why is this so good? Since the prefix is now covered with a fractured modifier which cannot change in any case, we can spam essences on this, so we get a good minion damage roll on this. You can change this Fractured to anything that you want. We would recommend crafting these on the lower body rather to buy a fractured piece because it will just make it so much easier.
Step 2 - Essence
The next step would obviously be to purchase essences. You'll buy the Deafening Essences of Fear and then you'll buy whatever chunk you want, so we can prep our crafting.
Step 3 - Item Level
Now we're going to make sure that the base is proper item level. Holding down alt so you can see the item level. Why does the item level matter? In craftofexile.com, choose your gloves, and in here, you can see the item level. The item level section will tell you the highest item level or the lowest item level you need to hit the highest tier. Therefore, when you search for these gloves, you also make sure that you get the item level that you're looking for.
Now, the process would be to literally spam these to our heart's content. Now we're going to decide what modifiers we’re looking for. The only time you want to buy gloves is when we're talking about situations where you're running spell suppression gloves on an evasion basis for poison SRS. These gloves can be a lot harder to hit reasonable numbers on, to get a high dexterity, and or have a high spell suppression with life, so you have that possibility as well. Obviously, you could search for a fracture spell suppression and say you want that at say 13 at least, you'll see that this costs quite a lot more when you're looking at proper item-level gloves. Now you want to craft another resistance roll on these and these gloves will be insanely good. You barely spent anything and that would be the baseline low-budget craft for this.
Step 4 - Bench
The next step is to put a bench on it, just to get some res. The next step is to go back to craftofexile.com and scroll all the way down to the searing exarch implicit as well as eater of worlds implicit. There's an easy way to do this and that would be to go to the path of the building and look for your gloves. Then put the influence searing and eater of war. There are different ways you can go about the search functionality of this.
In most minion builds we're looking for effective marks, this is an Eater of Worlds Implicits. The first step here is actually the Lesser Eldritch Ichor, the next one is 8-9% which would be the greater and the next one is the Grand.
Step 5 - Orb of Conflict
To get the next step, you would have to use the Orb of Conflict. The problem with Orb of Conflict is that they can be very expensive to do and that's for a higher budget version, 16 Chaos to lower one part of it and the other part would be upgraded. That's how you would upgrade these marks. For most mini builds, they would either go for a Spell Suppression combination with something. But without the spell suppression, we're looking at effective marks in most builds and we're also looking for minions to deal damage from the Searing Exarch Implicits.
To hit these, use these orbs, and depending on the tier you want, you'll use the higher cost of these. These lesser ones are going for almost nothing, the greater ones are going for almost one chaos each. Grand for example on these are going for three chaos each, so this is how you can ramp up the cost of these things and make the gloves even better. This is also one of the reasons why they cost more because it's RNG to hit these, You'll have to spam until you get the numbers that you want and these things become implicit modifiers.
Step 9 - Eldritch
Another thing you can do when you have really when you're going for the really high version of these types of items is you have an Eldritch Influence on these items, you can start using Eldritch Chaos Orbs, Eldritch Exalted, and Eldritch Orb of Annulment. Eldritch Chaos Orb will chaos over the item but only re-roll one side of the item and that would be either the prefixes or the suffixes. So this is something we use mostly for the super high-end energy shield base gloves where you try to get a perfect energy shield with minion damage. Once you've done that, you will do the appropriate influence to be the highest tier that makes the chaos orbs re-roll the suffixes instead, allowing you to spam that to roll those attributes or resistances instead.
Eldritch Orb of Annulment is obviously something that if you have three two good suffixes and one really bad suffix but you don't want to risk your prefixes. You can also use an Eldritch Orb of Annulment by making sure that the yellow channel hits the suffixes when you secure your prefixes.
The same thing with Exalted that is if you want to slam that thing but we only use this if it's cheaper than the Exalted Orb in most cases.
