Rocket League Season 12 Release Date

We are less than two weeks away from season 12. Season 12 does drop on the 8th of September. You got that big spoiler already!

Rocket League Season 12 Rewards

In RL season 12, we're going to be getting a Porsche 911 Turbo as the rocket pass car. We have waited so long for them to finally add a Porsche to Rocket League and it's the 911 Turbo. Hopefully, the tier 70 rocket pass car is a 911 Turbo S, that'll be pretty awesome. This is a car most people want to get in real life, so definitely going to be getting this with Rocket League credits in season 12.

In the background, we can see what looks to be a new goal explosion like a warning. It's a kind of hacked symbol and you can see a bit of a trail behind the Porsche there which looks like a bit of a lightning kind of comicy style. But it looks like we will be getting a hacked glitch effect. This Rocket League item looks like it might be on Neo Tokyo but it’s going to be released on season 12. You also got a nice Porsche decal on it as well.

Rocket League Season 12 Theme

It seems like we’re getting a glitch theme for season 12 RL. There are errors at the top of the Rocket League map. It's like a season where the game glitches out. We get a new map that looks like it's been taken over by a bug or some hacker has got into Rocket League. Honestly, that sounds like it could be potentially setting up for Unreal Engine 5 where someone comes in and hacks Rocket League and then we see huge changes and that's when we get on real Engine 5 maybe in season 13.

How To Prepare For Rocket League Season 12?

  • Practice custom training packs focused on your weaknesses. Spending time on dribbling, aerials, power shots, etc. can improve your skills.

  • Play casual extra modes like Snow Day, Dropshot or Hoops to mix things up. It helps avoid burnout on standard modes.

  • Review replay files from previous seasons to analyze mistakes or areas to improve your decision-making.

  • Fine-tune your camera and controller settings. Make sure they are optimized for your play style.

  • Try new car designs or customize your preset loadouts to feel fresh for the new season.

  • Watch pro player streams and tutorial videos to pick up advanced tactics and strategies.

  • Take a break if needing it. Burnout can hurt placements. Come back refreshed when Rocket League season 12 starts.

  • Find an organized Rocket League community to play extra scrimmages and find potential teammates.

  • Try 1s extra to improve skills like dribbling, shadow defense, and clutch plays under pressure.

  • Set personal milestones beyond just rank, like mechanic or stat goals, to stay motivated.
