That is we wanted a robust way for all of us to be able to compare all of the dungeons in the game and the strongholds in the game together, so we know how they stack up which ones give the best experience where to go for the right mobs so on and so forth, it's 115 permanent Dungeons and 15 strongholds by hand measured and timed as well as counting every single mob in each dungeon to know what the density is like for how many mobs appear in there, along with tracking what codex Powers come from it what the minimum level for the dungeon and strongholds is what mob types and objectives are inside it whether or not it has a gauntlet, how many farmlands it has so on and so forth. So we have the best exp master list for you.

How XP Works

• -Optimal Experience comes from fighting enemies 3 levels higher than you.

• -While leveling, enemies inside Dungeons will always be equal to your Character’s Level or to the Dungeon's Minimum Level, whichever is higher. Unless you are in World Tier 1 and World Tier 2 where they have a Maximum Level.

• -Enemies inside Strongholds will always be equal to your Character’s Level +2 or to the Stronghold’s Minimum Level, whichever is higher. Note that some Strongholds have weak mobs at the entrance who can be your level +1.

• -Knowing this, you can go to a Stronghold or Dungeon 3 levels below its Minimum Level to gain the optimal Experience. All Minimum levels can be found on the Master List.

• -The same applies to Nightmare Dungeons, where you want your Character’s Level minus 51 to ensure enemies inside are 3 levels above you.

Methodology

• -Completed all on a Level 100 Necromancer full build using Bone Spear in a farming setup - Wand + Focus + Lucky Hit and Exposed Flesh + Umbral.

• -Tests were done on a Level 100 Character so that Player Power stayed exactly the same & Enemy Power and Defenses stayed exactly the same throughout all encounters. To track EXP, Mob Density was counted by hand and compared to clear time.

• -To ensure a clean test: All Shrines were skipped, All Events were skipped, Any Butcher encounters were omitted, Any Treasure Goblins were skipped.
