Diablo 4 is launching in one week from now at least after any access. By far the most asked question right now is which class is the best in Diablo 4? With all the new findings in recent months, we bring you the updated Diablo 4 tier list for launch, we will talk about the best classes to play and why. Thanks to Wudijo who has created these different categories so we have a D4 tier list for early game, end game, build diversity, ease to play, speed, fun, group utility, and hardcore.

 

Diablo 4 Launch Tier List For Early Game

S Tier

  • Rogue: Great mobility and damage, defense is not important in the early game

A Tier

  • Sorceress: All round solid

  • Necromancer: Skellies, decent core skills, free damage with corpse explosion

B Tier

  • Druid: Slow until companions come in to carry you

D Tier

  • Barbarian: Slow start, always melee, crawling his way up. Ancients carry boss fights.

 

Diablo 4 Launch Class Ranking For End Game

S Tier

  • Barbarian: Lots of raw stats and legendary aspects from extra weapon slots

  • Druid: Very tanky + insane legendary power combos

B Tier

  • Rogue: Can be very squishy but with high damage

  • Sorceress: 2X enchant slots and build synergies unlocking later

C Tier

  • Skellies fall of overtime and sacrifice bonuses are small

S Tier

  • Druid: Lots of combos with/without shapeshifting and between elements

  • Sorceress: Enchantment slots will create insane combos

A Tier

  • Rogue: Low variety of core skills but a large variety of supporting skills

B Tier

  • Barbarian: Locked in a few core skills but fun situational tools

C Tier

  • Necromancer: Too few skills to experiment with when leaving out minions or corpses

S Tier

  • Necromancer: Simple to plat overall. Spam core or corpse skills

A Tier

  • Druid: Most tools are straightforward to use and quite tanky class

B Tier

  • Barbarian: Always melee, some builds require timing or buff stacking

C Tier

  • Sorceress: Requires timing and combing all available tools properly

D Tier

  • Rogue: Positioning, defense, and timing requirements lead to a high skill ceiling

S Tier

  • Rogue: Tons of movement speed, dash, and shadow step

A Tier

  • Barbarian: Picks up speed with passives, shouts, leap, etc

  • Sorceress: Teleport is great, especially late-game with more cooldown and skill ranks

C Tier

  • Druid: Very build dependant, generally slow until later, trample long CD

F Tier

  • Necromancer: The only mobility skill, blood mist, actually slows you down darkness gets a bonus

  • Rogue: Fast, impactful, lots of tricks up their sleeve, high skill ceiling

A Tier

  • Druid: Lots of room for experimentation and combos

  • Sorceress: Cool animation and combos

B Tier

  • Barbarian: Straightforward to play, fun to chunk monsters

C Tier

  • Necromancer: Slow and very rigid build choice

S Tier

  • Barbarian: Shouts OP, pulling, tanking

  • Druid: Blood howl buffs, shared cyclone, armor, debilitating roar, cc, vuln., tanky

B Tier

  • Rogue: Poison damage red., pulling with death trap, tons of cc, vuln.

  • Sorceress: Freeze, stun, vuln.

C Tier

  • Necromancer: Decrepify strong, and vulnerable, that's mostly it

 

D4 Launch Tier List For Hardcore

S Tier

  • Druid: Fortify, tons of defensive tools

  • Sorceress: Flame shield cheat death and most builds are ranged

A Tier

  • Barbarian: Fortify, tons of defensive tools

C Tier

  • Necromancer: Has fortify but no mobility at all is scary

  • Rogue: Can’t get hit
