For the first time in FIFA 23, a promo will receive a Swaps programme to run alongside. Swaps were introduced to Ultimate Team in FIFA 22, allowing players to complete Squad Building Challenges, Objectives and more tokens in exchange for boosted rewards.

However, compared to FIFA 22, it seems like there are some tweaks to the World Cup Swaps event's prerequisites. All participating players in the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be given a World Cup player item and these must be used to earn your World Cup Swaps tokens. As a result, you can redeem your tokens to earn rewards like World Cup Stars, Packs, and Player Picks.

Today the market finally got up to a really nice part, we were trading a lot of cards, we did manage to sell some for profit. For example, we got stuck with some icons that we bought at 36, he dropped to 32. So the market took a little bit of hit because the hero pack came out to be like 100K, a lot of people want ahead and did it and when people do SBCs on FIFA, people are selling cards to be able to afford to do an SBC. So that’s why today we did see a dip in the market. For example like Smith Rowe that we were trading with, we bought him at 46 and selling them at 51, the market was super high this morning and just with one 100K SBC, the market took a really big drop and Smith Rowe was 39K an hour ago, he’s back to 41, but still a lot of listings on the market because people are selling up to be able to get the FIFA 23 Coins, to go ahead and do an SBC like the Hero pack. Messi I is 150K, a lot of people selling Messi to do the pack, he was 170 yesterday, so there was a big panic buy because people were bored, the Monday content is usually crazy and it was a little bit delayed, so we got this hero pack. 

What can we expect from the World Cup Path to Glory promo in FIFA 23? Relating towards the market this Friday, we are going to get a lot of cards coming to the game, everybody’s also going to get a pre-order pack with that World Cup Hero in it, so that is another player that people are going to put in their teams because many of them are usable. So you’ve got a Path to Glory promo team coming in, you’ll probably have a player SBC, you’ll also probably have some objectives. So there’s going to be a lot of interest from a lot of these previous cards whether it’s out of position, whether it’s previous promo teams.
