Classic WotLK Fresh Servers Confirmed: Fresh Start Realms, Character Limit Extended & More

Blizzard has just announced that when the Wrath of the Lich King pre-patch releases, new fresh start realms will be released where players will start at level 1. All dungeons will be available from the start and we will also get all talent trees available from the beginning which is going to be the Wrath of the Lich King talents. So you’ll be able to level up from fresh all the way to level 70 and do all of your things before WotLK comes out. Here’s everything about WotLK fresh servers, fresh start realms with Wrath Classic.

WoW Classic Wrath of the Lich King Fresh Servers & Fresh Start Realms

We have a new blue post from Blizzard regarding Wrath Classic announcing new fresh servers with the launch of Wrath Classic, which can give players a chance to start over from the beginning rather than fighting to catch up. These fresh servers will work exactly how most people imagine: everyone starts at level 1, no added cowbells. Since every dungeon and raid instance will be available to you right away, you won't have to put in any extra time or effort to visit Ahn'Qiraj. How Do WoW Classic WotLK Fresh Servers Work

The followings are a few stipulations for fresh start realms with Wrath Classic:

- One thing that’s really exciting is a lot of people are going into Wrath of the Lich King with a ridiculous amount of gear or an insane amount of gold, so the economy is going to be bonkers on normal servers because people have done gdkps or gold farm they’ve been doing this entire time. 

- For at least 90 days, you will not be allowed to boost a character on Fresh Start realms. 

- You won’t be able to make a death knight until you have a character of level 55 on that realm.

- WotLK server transfers are not going to be available to that realm for the first 3 months. 

- At least 90 days, nobody can bring over a ton of gold and any just giga geared character until Wrath of the Lich King has been launched. And we’re already just geared up in Wrath although it might mean some people will transfer over with crazy amounts of consumes or mats or things to beat the auction house.

WoW Classic WotLK Preparations - Steps To Prepare for Wrath Classic

- PvE to and PvP realms aren’t going to be restricted on realm transfers anymore. 

- The Wrath closed beta will come out soon. 

- Classic Era clones are going to be retired. 

- Existing realms are going to be consolidated which means if people don’t take the free transfers offered on existing reams that are deemed by Blizzard as dead even though other realms are dead as well, they are going to be forced to be transferred to another realm.   

- Mew Fresh Start Realms with Wrath Classic pre-patch.

- Wrath of the Lich King launch.      

Server Transfers In WoW Classic

WoW Classic has been offering free character transfers for a long period of time as players from lesser realms consolidated in order to have a wider variety of content to choose from. In terms of character transfers for WoW Classic WotLK, there are no guarantees that they will remain free, or how they will be handled in terms of factors such as transfer limitations between PVP and PVE realms and character limits per server, and more. Characters can be moved to WoW Classic WotLK fresh servers after 90 days, according to Blizzard.
