What Is The Key Of Hate In Diablo 2 Resurrected?

The Key of Hate is a unique item in Diablo 2 Resurrected that serves as a key to access the Uber Tristram area, where players can fight challenging bosses and earn powerful rewards.

To obtain the Key of Hate, players must defeat the boss Nihlathak in the Halls of Vaught in Hell difficulty. Upon defeating him, there is a chance that he will drop the Key of Hate. Players can use the Key of Hate to open a portal to the Uber Tristram area, where they will face off against three difficult bosses: Uber Diablo, Uber Baal, and Uber Mephisto.

If players manage to defeat all three bosses, they will be rewarded with the Hellfire Torch, a powerful charm that provides various bonuses and enhancements to the player's character.

Where To Farm Key Of Hate In Diablo 2 Resurrected?

The Key of Hate can only be obtained as a random drop from the boss Nihlathak in the Halls of Vaught in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Here are the steps to reach and defeat Nihlathak:

  • Start a game in Act V and proceed through the story until you reach the Frigid Highlands.

  • Explore the Frigid Highlands until you find the entrance to the Halls of Vaught. The entrance will appear as a small hole in the ground.

  • Enter the Halls of Vaught and proceed through the various levels until you reach Nihlathak's room. The entrance to Nihlathak's room is always in the upper-right corner of the second level of the Halls of Vaught.

  • Defeat Nihlathak and loot his corpse. There is a chance that he will drop the Key of Hate, but it is not a guaranteed drop.
