Since November 14th, 2017, all Nintendo Switch owners have the opportunity to join the Rocket League fun and while that fills many with hype, there are still many questions about what it will offer. For this reason, Psyonix decided to do a question and answer session with reddit users, in which he confirmed that his acclaimed project will present dynamic resolution in the hybrid console.

Rocket League For Switch Will Present Dynamic Resolution

Released November 14 on Switch

Rocket League will be available from tomorrow November 14 on the Nintendo eShop and by the end of the year in box version at € 19.99.

According to the study, Rocket League for Switch will run at 1280x720 (720p) in TV mode; however, when the console is used as a laptop, dynamic resolution will be activated and most of the time it will be seen in 1024x576 (576p). Keep in mind that the resolution will change depending on the stadium you are playing.

If you do not know, dynamic resolution is a technique that developers can implement to sacrifice a little visual aspect to ensure that the game maintains a constant performance. So, most likely Psyonix decided to use it to ensure that Rocket League for Switch runs at a rate of 60 frames per second at all times.

If that resolution does not meet your exacting tastes, you'll be happy to know that Psyonix plans to continue working on optimizing Rocket League for Switch after its release.

For the dematerialized game, Rocket League will require a 4.8Gb download.

In other news, Psyonix announced that Rocket League for Switch will include all the game modes that are available in the other editions of their game. On the other hand, it is important that you know that this title will occupy 4.8 GB of the available space in your console. The cross-platform will be available for Xbox One, PC and Switch players: you can play Rocket League together whether you are on one or the other of these consoles.

3 new cars

This Switch version will also have its (small) lot of exclusive novelties, namely new cars: Mario car, Luigi car and Samus car.
