NBA 2K22 Spotlight Sims Guide - Free Spotlights Cards, Complete The New Bracket Buster Spotlights

We have got the new bracket buster spotlight in NBA 2K22 MyTeam, so it appears we got 3 Ruby cards, 3 Amethyst cards, 3 diamond cards, 3 pink diamond cards, and 3 galaxy opals followed by a reward Ralph Sampson. Now let’s get into this free bracket buster spotlight rewards promo in NBA 2K22 and check which of these cards are worth it.

1. Ruby Denzel Valentine - SG/SF - 89

He’s 6’4’’ only with a 6’10’’ wingspan. He still with the bulls, he was drafted there. He went to the cavs and in the jazz and now he’s playing the g league. 87 speed, 87 acceleration, 89 shot 3 pt, solid defense, not good defensive badges, he’s got gold rang, gold sniper. A lower base on jump shot 22, quick release timing and shifty dribble style, he’s not a terrible group, he’s actually a solid ruby, he’s fine.

2. Ruby Draymond Green - PF/C - 89

He’s 6’7’’ player with 7’1’’ wingspan. 78 speed, 78 acceleration, 77 shot 3pt, he stinks. Base on jump shot 12 and slasher dribble style, he's an alright behind the back.

3. Ruby Magic Johnson - PG/SG - 89

81 speed, 81 acceleration, can't shoot the ball. He's a ruby 6’9’’ guard like in ruby weeks in MyTeam limited, he's actually not bad and we cannot stress that enough in certain challenges where you need rubies because of his height he could be a very effective ruby point guard to run. He got magic on normal time, you're not even magical quick like the new magic. There are some weird niche situations where he could actually be usable. So Johnson is not terrible, he's not good either.

4. Amethyst Richard Jefferson - SF/SG - 91

He’s a 6’7’’ player with 7’0’’ wingspan. 93 speed, 93 acceleration, he has basically normal base dribble style, because they not just made giving them better sticks and just being timed and defensive badges include clamps, interceptor, quick first step. He doesn’t’ do anything wrong, he’s basically the pink times.

5. Amethyst Salim Stoudemire - PG/SG - 91

96 speed, 96 acceleration, 6’1’’ with 6’4’’ wingspan. 96 shot 3pt can’t dunk. Half range, a half mismatch expert, so his defense is bad, but if he gets a really good release, this player could be a bill Sherman type card. Base jump shot 3, quick release timing, quick dribble style, he’s got the K.Irving signature size up. He has the tray escape. Salim Stoudemire is the first player in MyTeam, he's not gonna be that great, he's gonna be boxing a lot of situations, but a lot of people are gonna have fun.

6. Amethyst Luke Walton - SF/PF - 91

He’s a 6’8’’ player with 6’8’’ wingspan. He's perfectly fine, jump shot 20 on lower base, shifty dribble style. 88 speed, 88 acceleration, 84 free throw, 88 driving layup, 88 lateral quickness and 95 hands. Luke Walton is a pretty good Amethyst.

7. Diamond Corey Kispert - SF/SG - 94

He’s a 6’6’’ player with 6’7’’ wingspan. 86 speed, 86 acceleration, 90 shot close, 92 shot mid, 94 shot 3pt, defense is not terrible, half blinders, half deadeye, half sniper, half deadeye, gold clutch shooter, and hot zone hunter. Ray Allen base, quick release timing, he just does that same weird upper fundamental dribble style. He's not terrible, he's not good either.

8. Pink Diamond Rex Chapman - SG/PG - 91

He’s a 6’4’’ point guard with 6’5’’ wingspan. Shifty dribble style, base jump shot 49, not a good behind the back but 95 shot 3pt, 95 vertical, 93 speed, 93 acceleration, 96 driving dunk. This is a card that can do something, he's got some shooting badges, blinders, catch and shoot, chef, circus threes, limitless spot up. Playmaking badges cover downhill, handles for days, quick firststep on half, he's got no interceptor at all. He's not going to be awful, he's not going to be great either.

9. Pink Diamond John Wall - PG/SG - 96

He's fantastic, John Wall is absolutely fantastic at the point guard position because the way his player build is, the way he can shoot the ball, the way he can move. Jump shot 1 base, quick release timing, 93 shot close, 98 speed, 98 acceleration, 94 vertical is great. So if you're going to be able to just go for one of NBA 2K22 spotlight cards, let's go for John Wall, he's brilliant.

10.  Pink Diamond Jamal Mashburn - PF/SF - 96

Base jump shot 37, quick release timing, shifty dribble style. It's not as good as John Wall, but it's good, 93 speed, 93 ball, 93 acceleration, no range but he's got solid, but not great defensive stats, not great defensive badges, he's completely fine. If you want to use him, go ahead.

11. Galaxy Opal Bill Walton - C - 98

Base jump shot 4, quick release timing, Amar’e Stoudemire upper release. 86 speed, 86 acceleration, 92 strength, 92 stamina, 98 offensive consistency, he’s fantastic on defense, but he’s only 6’1’’, he could only play center, can’t shoot the ball. He’s not terrible either.

Tips to complete the bracket busters spotlight in NBA 2K22:

- A high pick-and-roll can be abused on offense to get easy looks at the hoop. Using a pick with L1 is the best way to accomplish this goal. When they begin to set up, you should move away from the monitor. Once they've rolled in front of their guy, the cutting player will have an open pass. To avoid a screener crash caused by an AI error, either kick the ball out of play or reset your screener and try again.

- On defense, off-ball defending with the player who is guarding the AI’s worst three-point shooter. Doing this lets you slack off and protect the lane without having to worry as much about them hitting a three.
