Aion 2 Season 2 Tier List - Best PvE & PvP Classes in Aion 2 S2

February 03, 2026

Season 2 of Aion 2 has completely reshaped the class meta. If you’re wondering which class performs best in PvP, which dominates PvE, or why certain roles feel stronger than ever this season, this Aion 2 season 2 tier list breaks everything down in a clear and practical way.

Aion 2 Season 2 Best Class - Aion 2 Season 2 Class Tier List

Season 2 introduces new endgame activities, redesigned ranking systems, expanded Abyss content, and deeper character progression systems that reward specialization and performance more than raw playtime. At its core, Season 2 pushes players into more competitive, structured gameplay. Rankings are now based on highest records instead of cumulative points, meaning you can’t grind your way to the top anymore—you have to perform well. On top of that, rewards are now class-specific, which makes balance differences between classes far more noticeable than in Season 1. Without further ado, let's dive into Aion 2 Season 2 best PvE and PvP classes.

Aion 2 Season 2 PvP Class Tier List

S Tier

These three dominate PvP for different but equally strong reasons.

Gladiator

Best frontline pressure in PvP. High burst + sustained melee damage. Strong survivability through armor, HP, and CC resistance. Excels in Abyss fights, group PvP, and small skirmishes. Very forgiving class → strong even with average gear.

Sorcerer

Biggest Season 2 climber. Massive ranged burst damage. Extremely strong crowd control chains. Dominates Arena and small-scale PvP when played correctly. Weak defensively, but positioning + CC makes up for it. Season 2 buffs fixed sorcerer’s damage flow and CC reliability, pushing it straight into S tier.

Ranger

Consistent high single-target damage. Strong kiting and mobility. Less squishy than sorcerer. Excellent in 1v1, open-world PvP, and Abyss. Ranger doesn’t spike as hard as sorcerer, but it’s far more stable and reliable.

A Tier

Strong, but with clear limitations.

Cleric

Extremely hard to kill. Strong sustain and defensive tools. Low kill pressure in solo PvP.Shines more in group PvP than duels. Cleric survives everything, but doesn’t decide fights alone.

Assassin

Very high burst potential.Strong opener and mobility. Relies heavily on player skill and timing. Suffers if initial burst fails. Assassin is deadly, but inconsistent compared to S-tier picks.

Templar

Tanky frontline control class. Improved a lot in Season 2. Low damage limits PvP impact. Mostly shines in organized group PvP. Templar is better than before, but damage keeps it out of S tier.

B Tier

Chanter

Support-focused PvP kit. Mantras provide strong team value. Weak solo kill pressure. Needs teammates to shine. Not bad—just not designed to carry PvP fights alone.

C Tier

Spiritmaster

Good theoretical damage. Fear and control exist, but clunky gameplay, poor fluidity and slow reaction windows. Struggles against mobile or burst-heavy classes. Spiritmaster isn’t weak on paper—it just feels bad to play in real PvP situations.

Aion 2 Season 2 PvE Class Tier List

(This list is damage-focused, not utility-focused)

S Tier

Assassin

Best single-target DPS. High uptime on bosses. Excellent mobility for mechanics. Shreds endgame PvE content. Assassin is the pure PvE damage king right now.

A Tier

Ranger

Consistent DPS. Safe positioning. Excellent boss damage.

Sorcerer

Massive AoE. Competitive single-target. Can rival assassin in some fights.

Gladiator

Strong AoE clearing. Solid boss damage. Brings survivability + DPS. All three are top-tier DPS choices, just slightly behind assassin in raw output.

B Tier

Templar

Tank role. Damage naturally lower. Needed only in specific content.

Spiritmaster

Good damage numbers. Suffers from slow, clunky rotations. Less efficient than other DPS. Viable, but not optimal for speed or damage-focused PvE.

C Tier

Chanter | Cleric

Cleric = healer

Chanter = support

They rank low because they aren’t meant to deal damage.
