Best EAFC 24 Premier League Starter Squad - Most Overpowered Cheap Starter Team in FC 24

The best starter squad possible is well-equipped to excel in Ultimate Team matches during the initial phase of the new game. To help you kickstart your Ultimate Team journey in EA FC 24, we’ve assembled the best starter squad to ensure you get off to a strong start. We’ve opted for the widely favored 4-3-3 formation and concentrated on constructing the team using Premier League players. Similar to previous FIFA titles, it’s expected this league will boast some of the best players at a low price in EA FC 24. So here are some of picks for a brand new starter squad for FC 24. Before we show the meta PL starter squad in EAFC 24, we are going to go for two or three best cheap players for a starter team per position.

Goalkeepers:

- Pickford: We are starting in goalkeeper with either Jordan Pickford coming in as an 82 rated with the 4-star weak foot which is very nice. He'll have 83 diving, 87 kicking and 87 reflexes, 80 positioning, and 77 handling to boot. It is a same card rating as his FIFA 23 card with very similar stats. And back in the early days even in FIFA 23, Pickford was a very good option.

- Lloris: The other goalkeeper option that we have got is going to be Lloris, downgraded no longer a walk out to an 83 rated with 85 diving, 80 handling, 70 kicking, 86 reflexes, and 81 positioning.

LBs:

- Alex Moreno: Coming in with 3-star skill moves, 3-star weak foot, and 80 rated to begin. The 87 pace, 76 defending, 70 physical may be slightly adjusted because it is derived from the in-game stats which are real. What we really like about Alex Moreno is he's got really good pace, good dribbling, good defending, his physicals are really nice with 89 stamina, that was always vital in the early stages of FIFA is a guy that can go for 90 minutes or a girl that can go the 90 minutes in FC 24. His shooting's not the best and his passing is not the best. He could be really good, he will be really cheap unless he's going to be needed for an SBC in the early days.

- Henry: The thing that we like the most about him is he has got a lot of pace with 89 pace, 91 acceleration, he's got very good agility and balance, he's got reasonable defending and physicality. There might be some other left backs in the game, that are just a little bit better than him, you might end up hitting one of those icon or hero left backs in the early stages from the welcome back pack or from the special edition packs, but Rico Henry is going to be a really good option, you've got high work rates which is fast and very well-rounded.

CBs:

- Gvardiol: We've got a big choice of center-backs because center back's always been a bit weird in FIFA, there's always some that are expensive and overpowered in the early days, even if there's an equivalent to them that is also as good. For some reason some of them are just quite cheap, so we've got Gvardiol from Man City. He's got 4-star weak foot, his defending and physical is really tidy, his passing isn't awful in spite of the fact that they've given him 69 base passing, and his shooting is irrelevant. Dribbling isn't too bad, maybe a little lower on the agility, and balance and pace is really nice.

- Van De Ven: The new spur center-back, he has got great pace for a center-back. His pace is really good, his defending and physical is quite nice. So a nice little upgrade on him should be quite easy and could improving him to an 80 or an 81 could be absolutely phenomenal. But even just for those first early games in division 10 of rivals if rivals is going to be the same as it was before, or those early squad battles games now being four minute halves, he could be a beast to really help set up your club for the long run.

- Akanji: He's got 4-star week for only two stars filmers, but it doesn't matter, his sprint speed is good and his pace in general is good, his passing and dribbling for a day 1 center-back is very good, his defending is very good. He's only 82 rated, he's either going to come out 100 times like a minute and be cheap on the market or he's going to be one of these 82s that is impossible to pack and might be expensive.

- Romero: This is already our third Spurs player, he's got terrible shooting 46, terrible dribbling 63 and terrible passing 58 in terms of the base card stat. But his pace for day 1 maybe with an anchor, maybe with a shadow could be superb. His defending and his physicals are brilliant and even though his dribbling is really low, his reactions and composure are very reasonable and the same for his passing is his vision. But his 74 short passing is quite nice. He's definitely going to be one of those 82 rateds that just cost a few FC 24 Coins.

RBs:

- Pedro Porro: This is just an incredibly well-rounded card for that right back roll, he's only 3-star, but he does have high medium work rates, his pace is really nice, his dribbling is really nice, his defending and physical are very good, with 91 stamina, his passing is quite well-rounded, his shot power and long shots are actually very good.

- Diogo Dalot: He’s got 4-star skill moves, 4-star weak foot, high/high work rates, 82 stamina and then just really well-rounded stats everywhere about shooting. His shot power's not bad either, but he's good defensively, good physically, good passing, short passing is real nice, crossing is decent, good dribbling stats. He's just going to be a really good consistent player for you in the team and help that defense.

LMs:

- Harvey Barnes: At Newcastle, he has got really good stats, 3-star skill moves and 4-star weak foot is really nice. Physical is a little bit poor which is why he's going to be cheap. 74 stamina, 72 strength, 53 aggression is poor, his pacing, dribbling however is really nice. He could be a really strong option in those early stages.

- Mitoma: He's tearing the Premier League up last season and this, he's got 4-star skills, 4-star weak foot and he’s got very nice dribbling and good pace. 89 acceleration, 79 sprint speed, the shooting is okay, his passing is quite nice, his dribbling and pace are so nice, he could just be an absolute Menace for you in those early games.

CMs:

- Caicedo: Another well-rounded card with high/high work rates. 82 stamina is good and in spite of what his base card stats look like, 85 short pass and 74 vision is really good, it's only 178 centimeters tall which is like 5’11’’, but an overall well-rounded card for a starter squad.

- Bentancur: With 70 pace, 81 passing, 83 dribbling, good defending and physical, decent long shots. He has four star skill moves, four-star weak foot, really nice passing and dribbling, very good defending and reasonable physicals as well. He's genuinely going to be an absolute beast in the start of the game, he's going to be a very popular choice for the starter squads.

- Joelinton: 88 physical is mad high/high work rates is brilliant, 81 defending and 82 dribbling is very good, that agility and balance a little low, passing is nice, shot power finishing and positioning a good pace is good, you could be looking at a card that could sit in your team for weeks. He's going to be a really fun one to play with, and with Newcastle being in the Champions League and not quite hitting the heights so far this season, he's got a lot of opportunities for some good upgrades, some good informs and special cards throughout the year.

- Bruno Guimaraes: 3-star skill moves, 2-star weak foot which is a bit sad, but that passing, dribbling, defending, physical is coming in crazy. 78 strength is a bit low, but physical is a brilliant, defensive stats are phenomenal, 84 interceptions, stand tackle and 80 defensive awareness, great dribbling stats for an 84 rated card, very good passing and he is like one of the high raters that we've got in the starting squad in EAFC 24. He could be an absolute Menace in your FC 24 starting lineup.

RMs:

- Amaron: 4-star skill moves, only a two-star weak foot for a very good pace, good dribbling, the 86 stamina is nice, passing is not so good either, shooting's okay, the pace and dribbling is going to be the key stats here for sure and Amaron could be very good. We start with a 4-4-2, some people may start with a 433 or whatever formation you want to go with, we definitely think Amaron will be one of those guys that has that potential to be in there straight away with that really good pace, that good dribbling.

- Bailey: We will most likely start with high/low work rates on Bailey. 4-star skill moves, 3-star weak foot, incredible pace, very good dribbling, no defending, and his physicals are also terrible, but he’s got decent shooting and decent passing.

STs:

- Isak: Another Newcastle player, we have got the four star skill moves, the five star weak foot and that is going to make him key. He doesn't have the stats of an 81 rated card, he is massively tall at 192 centimeters, he's got a high/medium work rates, his pace is good and has a good sprint speed. He's got incredible dribbling with really good stats across the board, he's got good physicals with very good jumping for a tall man. He's got very good shooting and good passing and he might be one of the most Op starter cards in FC 24. He's just going to be cheap on the market.

- Jesus: Four-star skill moves, three star weak foot and even though he's 84 rated, probably one of the best 84 rateds you will see on the game. Really good pace, good shooting with 88 attack positioning, good finishing, good shot power, really good dribbling apart from that composure. But for an 84 rated to be coming away with 92 agility, 90 balance, 88 reactions, 88 dribbling is really good. His stamina is good, his strength and aggression is good.

- Nunez: His physicals 85 are insane, his pace 90 is insane and his shooting's insane. And when you're coming up against other people with day 1 cards, with some horrible center-backs, some horrible fullbacks, and then you've got a guy who's got ridiculous pace, ridiculous physicals, and ridiculous shooting, you're just going to dominate completely. 84 reactions for Nunez is very good as well. He'll just be one of those guys that nobody really cares about at the start.

- Gakpo: He's got good pace 85, really good shooting in key areas, that positioning, finishing, shot power, long shot combination is really nice. Passing is not the best which is why we're playing a striker rather than on the wing where he'd also possibly be able to play. His dribbling is really good for a big man and for a striker and his physicals are good as well.
