6/6/2023 10:16:25 AM

Today, we got you probably the most broken Loot and XP farm method right now in Diablo 4. It's so insane in fact that literally every single speedrunner is doing it right now too fast to reach level 100, nonetheless getting nerfed really soon. In the meantime go ahead and maybe use our D4 loot farming guide to get some of that sweet loot because it gives you hundreds if not even thousands of items, sacred quality legendaries, and above.

Diablo 4 Loot Farming Guide: Loot Cave Locations, Rewards, Drop Rates & Tips

The loot cave was first found in Destiny, and it was a place where players could fire into a cave while foes generated quickly outside. You could just stand there and watch as treasure (in the shape of colourful orbs) fell to the ground when you fired your gun. If you're seeking easy ways to harvest money, experience, obols, and even a few Legendary items in Diablo 4, the basement mentioned above is the closest thing you'll find. Stay tuned for our Diablo 4 launch loot cave farming guide!

Diablo 4 Loot Cave Locations

You can do this Diablo 4 loot farming method in the Maugan's Works dungeon on this side of the map in Hawezar. To reach that location, there are a couple of nearby settlements that you can easily reach. So grab either of these, just go over there and start it in this very location.

How Loot Cave Works In Diablo 4

All you need to do is ignore about 99% of the enemies. There are going to be a lot of groups spawning but we're not looking for these smaller packs. What we are looking for in fact are two very large groups of exclusively just elite-level enemies. An annoying dungeon filled with doors but eventually, you should reach one of these small little areas with a huge number of enemies inside. This is essentially what we're going to try to farm on repeat, that's why you will learn to bring a decent-ish character maybe at least level 50 because this pack is filled with at least a thousand or so.

Most annoying they contain some of Herald enemies that keep buffing some of the others for a lot of defenses. So in this case you want to make quick work of the herald so that the others fall in line really easily. But otherwise, if you're lucky enough and if you play on at least nightmare mode, we suggest tier 4 by the way for the best results. But even on tier 3 it still gives you a ton of sacreds and also has a good chance at legendaries also upset secret quality. All in all, you are looking at a very good farm, hundreds of D4 items per hour maybe even more if you're doing this really fast and can take down these groups even quicker.

There are going to be two groups for instance so don't just farm the first one and leave go ahead and search for the second one. Don't complete any other objective, completely ignore everything else, and search for the second pack rinse and repeat. Once you are done with both of these, go ahead and leave the dungeon. This next step is going to be important to make things a lot more efficient. Once you leave the dungeon go ahead and also leave the game as this is going to quickly reset the dungeon for us. This is the fastest method to get it reset but you can also make the trips back to town and as you're salvaging your items or storing them in your inventory, by that time your dungeon should also be reset.

Diablo 4 Loot Cave Rewards & Drop Rates

Item Drop Rate

In terms of the drop rates, most of the items that you're going to see dropping are going to be the sacred rares which is still a very good farm. Because this is what we're going to use to promote them to legendary quality so still look for the ones that have the best stats. Or if they just improve on your overall gear, maybe hold a few for some of the other characters if they drop. Who knows, you might use them a bit later. Otherwise, they are a great source of salvage material and also to make some additional money on top if you're lacking the Diablo 4 gold

Legendary Drop Rate

In terms of the legendary drop rates, it's still perfect on nightmare difficulties and you can probably get it on tier 4 to even crazier levels. Even unique dropping via this D4 loot cave farming method that's going to be fully dependent on luck but you can totally do so with a bunch of runs. It takes roughly one or two minutes per run with a decent-ish setup.

XP Drop Rate

What's most important about this is that you can pop a quick XP potion and then also level very well at the same time.  At level 56, roughly three to four minutes for a full-on section. There are four sections in total so that means 20 minutes in one single level at around level 56. Sure, it's going to be a lot different later down the line once it all skills up and everything and the XP game or while the level gains go up exponentially. We just don't think there's going to be a faster method to level at the current time in Diablo 4, so yes it looks tedious and monotonous but you can go in and just finish it.

Diablo 4 Loot Cave Farming Tips

You’re jumping into another group of enemies just pulling in all attacks. You do have to be careful about some of the CC that they can do. Furthermore, you will get stuck for days for long periods of time in some of the shots simply. Some of these enemies are just crazy at doing that and with so many of them, you just have to constantly try to dodge or maybe become unstoppable. If you're playing with a Whirlwind Warrior even with recent nerfs, you're probably going to use the breeze through all of these. We also recommend going with some of your friends to make even better use of the XP buffs and get more out of this farm at the same time.
