New World Empyrean Forge Expedition Guide: Release Date, Quests, Drops (Rewards), Gears & Tips

The Empyrean Forge Expedition officially announced in the 2023 roadmap is coming to this Spring, and will bring a new questline featuring exciting rewards and new legendary weapons, as well as the possible first season of the game. New World Empyrean Forge Expedition Guide

Empyrean Forge Expedition comes with fire elements and calls players to fight humanoids for the first time, in which we are aware that the dungeon will have a fire and lava theme and that Varangian Knights will be our adversaries. The expedition is coming in two parts: the first is going to be related to the Varangian and that's going to be you fighting against humans and new itemization might come along with that. Similar to the Tempest's Heart Expedition, we can expect to start a new questline, encounter the new bosses, and earn new legendary drops (weapons, armor, jewelry) with 600+ gear scores!

New World Empyrean Forge Expedition Release Date

In the roadmap released at the end of December last year, the Empyrean Forge has been planned to be released in this year's Spring. Although we have not yet obtained a confirmed release time from the official, it is still not difficult to guess that the Empyrean Forge expedition is likely to be released sometime in March. One day to reach the game. And because the two-week event - Legacy of Crassus is in full swing, a PTR may not be released until the end of February or early March after that.

Like the previous expeditions, we can still expect new questlines to be unlocked in the Empyrean Forge expedition. It's unclear how much of this questline is actually directly related to the Empyrean Forge, while since the Expedition is themed with lava and fire, we think most of the quests will probably be related to fire. They could technically all be quests for the expedition because many of them are related to fire. Expedition EmpyreanRepeat and Expedition FireNaga are two additional quests that also have the Expedition level; they are unrelated to the other quests in this group but still exist. In addition, we suspect that the only time you can access the expedition in repeat after completing Expedition FireNaga.

New World Empyrean Forge Rewards & Loots

Then what exciting new drops will these new Empyrean Forge quests bring? The arrival of new legendary items is beyond doubt. And we got some interesting guesses from the community about the type of specific items. We believe Empyrean Forge will include a questline that rewards you with many items of the new Ward and Bane types, allowing you to complete the questline and have a solid basic set of gear for this expedition. this may in fact be similar to The Tempest.

We are aware that this is the first of a two-part Expedition with Varangian Knights and that the next expedition may demand certain gear designed expressly for it. As there is currently no Ward or Bane for Varangan Knights, we may assume that we will need some kind of specialized equipment of that kind for this expedition.
