Dragonflight 2v2 Comps Tier List - Best 2v2 Comps Ranking (10.0.5)

10 - Ele Frost Mage (B Tier)

Frost Mage, Elemental Shaman, Resto Druid

This comp might come as a bit of a surprise but we do think that this packs a gnarly amount of damage. The Frost Mage keeps control of the enemies, while the elemental shaman just lobs in massive amounts of lava burst damage cleaving down multiple targets Fire and Ice. Resto Druid is one of the best if not the best wizard cleave healers at the moment, but a substitute for a Disciplined Priest will bring even more damage into the mix, so definitely consider those discs could be slightly better at a lower rating where you can overwhelm people with just how much damage you're doing, but as you get to higher rating Resto Druid and just staying alive extending and avoiding engagements is likely going to become better for you.

9 - Devastation DK (B Tier)

Devastation Evoker, Death Knight, Restoration Shaman

This Devastation evoker composition is the staple Team Liquid one, it's going to be a Death Knight and a Restoration Shaman. We do think you can make Frost work again at a lower rate as it will actually be better gripping targets together for massive cleave damage with a really surprising amount of pressure. Devastation Evoker is still in a really good position even after these most recent changes gripping multiple targets together. Your Restoration Shaman is going to want to make sure they're playing Storm keeper and they're playing really aggressively lining that storm keeper up with the Death Grip, Abominations Limb, and Deep Breath. When you put all of these together, you have the Exodia combo, you will just absolutely roll people over, so definitely a really good composition to climb from the low to the mid-range, and even at the higher ratings as well you can catch people off guard with how much burst damage this composition can do.

8 - Ret Warrior (B Tier)

Ret Paladin, Arms Warrior, Preservation Evoker

This comp might come as a surprise too but there was actually a bug going on with one of its talents that was fixed. Now Ret Paladin is doing a smashing amount of damage but is still limited on mobility and survivability which is why it's coming in towards the bottom end of the list, but we definitely think it's a contender here with an Arms Warrior. And with the rework that's happening in the future that this could maybe even be rivaling the power that this composition had in Shadowlands. On the ladder right now we'd recommend it played with an Arms Warrior and not a fury although you could experiment, Fury, is a lot better than it was, and as a Preservation Evoker healer this is going to be one of the best healers to deal with Assassination Rogues and assisting your Paladins surviving. Assassination Rogue is so prevalent but preservation Evoker also going to add some extra damage to this and assist with the mobility problems that Rhett has by moving the threat around Ret Paladin and pond with rescue, you can put your Ret Paladin in a better position. Definitely a lot of damage in this composition, you'll be overwhelming a lot of people.

7 - Boomkin Havoc (A Tier)

Balance Druid, Havoc Demon Hunter, Resto Shaman/Discipline Priest

Now you can do a lot of sustained single Target damage now with Boomkin.  This is going to be played with a Havoc Demon Hunter. Likely Resto Shaman is kind of the more standard pick, but you could bring in a Discipline Priest again just because they're doing so much damage and the damage that Demon Hunter Boomkin do, on top of that could allow you to steamroll a lot of people, but as you climb higher the disruption of ally or of Resto Shaman against other spell cleaves starts to outweigh the damage that Discipline Priest can do, but it's a really close race between the two. You also get longevity with the Shaman but it would be super fun to play this comp in Arena with a disc.

6 - Lock Shaman (A Tier)

Demonology Warlock, Elemental Shaman, Resto Druid/Preservation Evoker

This Demonology Warlock, Elemental Shaman, and Resto Druid comp are one of the most standard Lock Shaman versions. Because the Demonology Warlock is going to bring mortal wounds, a lot of crowd control to lock down enemies for your ally to blast and always keep pressure and keep your opponents at bay, one of the best wizard Cleaves in the comp in the game at the moment. You can substitute Destruction for Demonology as it does substantially more damage, but you're going to lose a bit of control, so it's going to be a little bit more volatile. Again Resto Druid is one of the best spell cleave healers but we think you could substitute in for a Preservation Evoker just because of how good it is into Assassination Rogue at the moment and the ability to use rescue to move your Wizards away from melee Cleaves, can definitely be vital to your success. So intermingling these two healers whenever possible in LFG, both them are going to yield really good results.

5 - Arcane WW (A Tier)

Arcane Mage, Windwalker Monk, Resto Druid

This is a composition that just focuses on keeping your enemies at Bay, it's much less about just like running in and immediately winning the game like a lot of these other Cleaves or even the spell Cleaves. You really want to be focusing your mind on defense, keeping enemies away dragging the fight out and finding a perfectly isolated target. It's going to be harder to play. Because of that playstyle, we think Resto Druid is the best suited for that but it's definitely powerful. Definitely the best Windwalker comp right now available to it, it's going to be a powerhouse with lots of control, lots of mobility, just keep enemies away from yourself and do as much damage as you can while running.

4 - DH DK (S Tier)

Demon Hunter, Death Knight, Assassination Rogue/Holy Paladin

This composition is still a powerhouse, really straightforward run and grip enemies together, stun all of them, blast them down, and kill everything. You can play this with the Resto Shaman, again storm keeper is really good when you grow put together with the Abomination Limb, but we think Paladin also can pack a nice punch in this composition, and because Assassination Rogue is so prevalent, Paladin is a really good, pickup as a substitute so balancing between those two healers in this composition would be a good idea.

3 -  Jungle (S Tier)

Beast Mastery Hunter, Feral Druid, Disciplined Priest

The Jungle cleave particularly with a Beast Mastery Hunter, Feral Druid, and Disciplined Priest (substitute the Beast Mastery for survival). A lot of Beast Mastery Hunters just overwhelm people with pressure, this is a high-pressure comp especially with a Discipline Priest to get so much damage and instant CC. Definitely, a strong contender even despite the nerfs to Feral, you may consider shifting your talents towards more ferocious bite more single target, but that just plays into the strengths of Jungle cleave anyway. So this is an absolute monster of a comp right now, we would definitely recommend it for any Feral Druid out there or Hunters.

2 - SP ASSA (S Tier)

Shadow Priest, Assassination Rogue, Resto Shaman

This SP ASSA composition is just well-rounded and really consistent and Assassination Rogue pretty much goes well with anything.  This does a lot of damage, has a lot of instant crowd control for healers, and just a lot of overwhelming pressure. It's probably one of the most flexible comps in terms of finding a Healer, so if you're really having a hard time in LFG, pretty much anything works. At the moment on the ladder, between Shaman or Paladin is likely going to be the best, and Druid can be a nice filler if you really can't find anything else, but we do think other Assassination Rogues will take advantage of you if you do end up picking a druid here, so definitely teetering towards Resto Shaman or Holy Paladin in this composition.

1 - RMP (S Tier)

Assassination Rogue, Arcane Mage, Discipline Priest/Preservation Evoker

The best composition for the 10.0.5 patch is the Rogue Mage Priest, and the best specs to pick up are the  Assassination, Arcane, and Discipline Priest. It's going to be adding a huge amount of damage with discipline priests to this composition with tons of control, just overwhelming running people down and bursting them, executing a power of the Arcane Mage, extra damage from the Discipline Priest so much crowd control. You can substitute a Preservation Evoker for this composition if you want to make it more annoying for other Assassination Rogues. This absolutely gnarly composition just has so much damage, all of the benefits of basically everything right now in the Meta, so definitely the number one position composition for the arena now. You could say arguably a little bit harder to play than some of the other Cleaves, but if you're a Rogue, Mage, Discipline Priest, or Preservation Evoker out there, this is an ideal composition to be running at the moment.
