We just got the first trailer for the very first DLC update for Elden Ring. Once again Elden Ring has not failed and they have officially announced PVP and Colosseum. Elden Ring Colosseum 1.08 Update Guide 2022

Elden Ring Colosseum Locations

The Colosseums of Limgrave, Leyndell, and Caelid will open their gates, allowing players to engage in battles such as duels, free-for-alls, and then team fights.

Elden Ring Colosseum PvP Modes

From the trailer, they are showing 1v1s, 2v2s, and 3v3s for Elden Ring DLC Colosseum update. More interestingly, you are able to use spirit summons in the arena. What else do you guys need for Elden Ring? So get your builds ready! So duels free for alls and team fights. Apart from the ash and summons, this sounds pretty much exactly what we had in Dark Souls 3. Here's the problem but it's good news for anybody that likes PVP, it's good for people that are still playing Elden Ring. However, it's bad news because this reduces the chances of an Elden Ring DLC getting announced in the game awards by a whole lot. 

Many others were really hoping that we would get some kind of Elden Ring announcement regarding its DLC at the game awards on December 8. A big reason why people even thought there was going to be an announcement in the first place is that they had added new content into the files during one of their patches that now we know has to do with these Colosseums, has to do with this free update.

Let's go back to the past and that is how sometimes we know what is really going to happen in the future. In Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3, there are covenants in those two different types of games and they are both from Software. In Elden Ring, we do have covenants but not like what you think. That means that they at one time were from Software and were thinking about having a rank system. What are we going to be getting from Elden Ring DLC Colosseum update most likely is a covenant system where we are going to be able to choose who are we going to faction with, so we are able to rank up and be able to earn a different type of rewards. It could be incantations, it could be a different weapon, or it could even be something else that is in the works that we might be able to get as we level up in the rank system.
