What's FC 24 Centurions Promo?

The Centurions Promo in FC 24 is a special event that celebrates players who have reached significant milestones in their careers. This promo is expected to start on October 27, 2023, and will feature a variety of new players and content. Based on leaks and previous Centurions Promos, it is expected that the players featured in FC 24 will have reached milestones such as 100 goals, assists, clean sheets, or appearances for their club or country. These players will receive special Centurions cards with boosted stats and unique designs.

FC 24 Centurions Promo Release Date

The EA FC 24 Centurions promotion begins on October 27, 2023, at 10 a.m. PT, so you won't have to wait a century for it. This has the following implications for your timezone:

Rooney will be in the EA FC 24 Centurions team. It's going to be great because usually, the icon pack wave for Promos is actually decent better than what the icons usually are for pack wave. Thiago Silva also going to be in Centurions and the promo team. We've got Charlton going to be on the team unfortunately did just recently pass away. He was an incredible player and this card is insane. Cole is also going to be a Centurion's Icon, a very good left back. He has jockey plus which is a fantastic play style.

We got Martin Ødegaard as an SBC during Centurion, so another Ødegaard special card. Hopefully gets a bit of a weak foot boost that would be kind of nice. This is another very hyped-up player that everybody wants to use add. Mudryk is another SBC as well as another Premier League hyped-up player coming into the game. 

Tomori is once again another insanely meta card going to get another promo card 100 times. Eusébio is also going to be on the promo team. 

Are They Worth Getting?

It's fun to get hyped up about these cards but the reality is you're just never going to be able to use them outside of Draft. There are a few times in the year when we get to see juiced-up drafts. But for the most part, it's not very good in terms of player selection. So these cards are going to be amazing but you're not going to be able to play with them probably until very much later on into the year.

RTTK’s

Road to the Knockout Tracker, we had Luka Modrić. Get his upgrade because he gets his second group stage win. This is always going to be the case for any live card that you've got till the end of time basically. 99.9% of the time you sell this card in the hype before anything happens for example 6 hours before the game or 2 hours before the game. This card was 380,000 at its peak and he's now at 360 after they won their second game. Since they got their win, and guaranteed the upgrade, he's going down in price. The reason is that he gets over-invested. People are already expecting him to get that upgrade. The way you can make coins on Road to the Knockouts is usually on the cheaper cards that you can end up buying for cheap. 

Saka got their first win for Arsenal because they beat Sevilla. We had Bruno Fernandez getting their first win, only one more was needed out of three there. Osimhen is getting his first win. That trend's even worse with Lewandowski. He hasn't played his game yet until today. This card was actually 550k at his peak. A few days ago that is going to be the sell window every time. A couple of days to 6 hours before the EAFC 24 Centurions Promo Event kicks off all, you want to sell your cards.

Market Crush

Now let's talk about what we need to do to prepare for FC 24 FUT Centurions. Because this team just looks so outrageous and probably going to be extremely expensive, there will be fodder cards thrown in there but probably no one's really going to want to use them. The pack weight is going to determine all of these cards. If the pack weight is a lot better than we're expecting, then obviously these cards are great, they'll be cheaper, and the whole market's coming down. You're going to get some apply and better cards will be cheaper. Therefore, the rest of the market comes down if that happens. Now is the time to sell 100% of gold cards. If what happens is the pack weight kind of sucks and the cards are too expensive, well the market probably stays about the same. 

Right now it's going up and certain areas, other cards that are a little bit lower priced aren't going up and Trailblazers are going down. If you want to play it safe, the best thing you can do is finish the weekend league as fast as you possibly can and then sell. In the best-case scenario, you sell now when the market tanks and you just made a ton of EAFC 24 coins. It's never great in the market tanks but if you sell in time, it's great for you. But if you want to buy a card or two, you do not need to worry about crashing or falling too much, it's icons and heroes, they're the simplest cards to buy. In terms of not worrying about the market price on them because they tend to stay the same for a long time and they're rising a lot right now.

Pay To Win?

If you want a really long-term outlook on what EA are going to do this year, we can infer at this point that this is what is going to happen and this is also what their plan was at the start the year. This is a new way for them to make it slightly more pay to win but not so obvious. Almost every promo player in a new team is going to have play style pluses eventually, multiple of them potentially. The cards that come out with finesse shot plus and technical plus are going to be broken. They're not going to be anywhere near the top tier meta of cards that are being used at the time because they're going to be that much above them. Their plan is to get out of gold cards immediately, they definitely still want you to do that. So combine that, they're really going to try and make crazy promo teams to get people played out plus. It's a little more pay to win than we've had.
