Blessing of Chayula is a currency item in Path of Exile used to upgrade certain Breach items and Breachstones to more powerful versions. It drops from Chayula, Who Dreamt, the final boss of the Breach mechanic, accessible by using Chayula’s Breachstone in the map device. When applied to Breach unique items, the Blessing rerolls all modifiers (implicit and explicit) but preserves quality, sockets, and socket colors. It can upgrade regular Breachstones into Flawless versions and transforms the Eye of Chayula into the Presence of Chayula, including maintaining any Shaper or Elder influences. Using a Blessing on shaped or influenced items converts them to unshaped/uninfluenced versions while upgrading.
The best use of Blessing of Chayula is upgrading Breach unique items, especially those that synergize well with your build. For example, the Skin of the Lords chest is highly sought after for many builds due to its strong implicit mods and favorable socket colors. Applying a Blessing can reroll its mods, potentially granting powerful keystones like Unwavering Stance or Iron Will, which are highly valuable and can significantly boost survivability or build effectiveness. This can be both a profit-making method and a direct upgrade for your character. Blessings maintain quality and sockets, so you can upgrade items without losing valuable features. Overall, Blessings of Chayula are a valuable crafting currency for upgrading or gambling on high-tier Breach items to fit your character’s needs.
After the removal of the "Breach Scar of the Dreamer" in patch 3.25, directly targeting Chayula for farming Blessings became more challenging. However, this change was actually a significant buff to the Breach mechanic overall. To farm Blessings of Chayula efficiently, focus on maximizing the number of breaches you encounter per map and increasing splinter drops:
Map Setup: Use atlas passives that grant extra breaches, increase monster quantity, and improve splinter drops. Select maps with wide-open layouts (like Dun maps) for easier clearing.
Map Device & Scarabs: Use multiple breach scarabs (Scarabs of Snares and Lordship) to spawn many clasped hands (breach monsters) and breach lords. Scarabs increase the number of breaches per map significantly, resulting in more splinter drops.
Atlas Passives: Allocate passives that add breaches, increase quantity, and allow breach lords to duplicate, boosting splinter and breach stone drops.
Clearing Strategy: Quickly open clasped hands and prioritize killing breach lords (marked on the minimap), as they have a chance to drop full breach stones and more splinters.
Limit Open Breaches: You can have up to four breaches open simultaneously. Skip non-Chayula breaches to save time and focus on the valuable Chayula ones.
Delirium Mirror Strategy: Combine breach farming with Delirium maps. Delirium timer pauses inside breaches, allowing ample time to clear high-density monsters and farm more splinters and valuable drops.
Farming Chayula breaches and killing the boss repeatedly is the most reliable way to get Blessings of Chayula, with each boss kill having about a 50% chance to drop one.
