If you are new to the game and this is your first New World Thanksgiving event. What happens is a giant turkey spawns around the map that you will kill with a huge Zerg of people, much like at Halloween. But this guy dropped turkey last year, an item used to craft lock food. We are excited to see if they have made any changes to this Turkey Day event in 2022 in New World. But if not though, it's pretty cool either. You can make a ton of  New World gold after the Thanksgiving event was over.

Patch 1.7.2 downtime will begin at 11 PM PT 6 a.m UTC on November 15th and include the launch of the New World Turkey Terror event update.

1. Feast-o-Plenty Food Trophy

What is exciting is the New World Turkey Terror 2022, the new trophy that has been lingering on the New World database for a while. It inspires you when you eat a meal. Only works when placed in your home. And it grants +25% Food Buff Time when you eat beneficial food. This trophy can be obtained from the mighty Turkulon, Feathered Avenger of Death.

2. Monstrous Turkey Leg

The leg of a monstrous, murderous turkey. Its deliciousness has surely been applied by its size and the rage of the bird it came from. Use this to cook a Roasted Monstrous Turkey Dinner. This isn't a guaranteed drop that you get from Turkey boss.

New World Turkey Terror Crafting Recipes

What this monstrous turkey leg is needed for is a new recipe called the roasted monstrous turkey dinner. This increases the constitution by 1 and applies 0.15 for 40 minutes. Your health slowly recovers well under these effects. The potency of this item adjusts based on your level now. If you are a level 60 it's quite crazy, because you get a plus 33 constitution and a plus 5% luck for 40 minutes and that's for consuming one of these recipes. To craft this recipe needs the following materials:

1 x Monstrous Turkey Leg

5 x Potato

3 x Cooking Oil

1 x Parsley

1 x Sage

1 x Rosemary

2 x Thyme

This New World big Turkey can actually spawn on the following picture that is marked with the turkey icon. Get farming because you see the actual items, the item you can get actually selling for decent money, just over a thousand gold coins. The recipe itself people are selling for basically two thousand gold coins.

Turkulon is popping up all over the map during the New World 1.7.2 Turkey event. It's at level 66, it's absolutely massive. But it isn't too hard to beat, take probably a team of three or four roughly five to ten minutes. If you've got a healer, you shouldn't have any problem.
