WoW 18th Anniversary Event Guide - Things To Do During The 18th WoW Anniversary & Prepare For Dragonflight

Now that the popular open-world role-playing game World of Warcraft has reached its 18th year, players are eagerly anticipating the Anniversary Event! Each year, World of Warcraft runs an event for three weeks around its anniversary, and that time of year has arrived once again. This year, however, Darkmoon Faire is happening at the same time as the event, so not only will you receive massive amounts of XP and reputation faster, but the event itself will also be more rewarding. There will also be a Celebration package! The 18th-anniversary event in World of Warcraft begins on November 6 and ends on November 27, 2022. Free XP Buff

The first thing that you will receive on all your different characters is a little gift box and basically inside this gift box, you will get 200 of the time wrapped patches, this is the currency that is linked to the time working events and you will also receive this celebration package that will basically increase the experience and reputation gains by 18% on your character, and this is something that will be there until the end of November. So this is extremely good because it means that right now with the current buff The Winds of Wisdom and also with the Darkmoon Faire just started today, you will be able to get an increase rep in experience by 78%. This is extremely good, so right now is the perfect time to level up some alts if you want to get some alts ready for Dragonfight. With this event, it's going to be even easier to level up all these alts. So just make sure to have enough characters to cover the different professions or to do different type of activities at the launch of Dragonflight.

How To Get The Mounts

When it comes to the mount, you can get these very cool mount, the Illidari Doomhawk, just by killing the Doomhawk that is just outside of the caverns of time. So all you want to do is go outside, kill the Doomhawk and you will get this mount. So this is something you can do on all your different characters and this is an easy mount to grab.

Note: In order to go to the Caverns of Time, all you want to do is go in the different portal rooms in Orgrimmar or Stormwind and there you will have the portal to directly go to the Caverns of Time. So this is extremely easy and it should really takes no time for you to do that. There is also a specific version of the Alterac Valley, the Korrak’s Revenge. So if you take part into this specific BG you will be able to get this mounts or the battle RAM and all you need to do is to complete these achievement, the Alterac Valley of Olde. So basically you want to earn 200 time wrap batches from doing quests and participating in the Alterac Valley. 

How To Get 272 Ilvl Gear

During these 3 weeks, you will be able to kill 3 World bosses, the Lord Kazzak, Azuregos and then the Dragon of Nightmares. Each of these bosses have a chance at dropping some 272 high level armor pieces, so this is a good way to catch up a little bit with some of your alts and definitely it's something you can do very easily. So all you want to do is go into group finder and then you want to type the name of the different WoW bosses and you will be able to find a group and kill these bosses very easily. So that can reward you with a lot of good items 272 ilvl.

Quests

You also have a few quests that you can do during this period that will allow you to get a lot of the time wrapped batches. So for instance, you have the one where you need to kill Doomwalker, you have the one where you need to kill all the different WoW bosses and you will also get 200 from the little package at the beginning. So this is a good way to catch up on this currency. 

How To Make Gold

Also, there is one thing you can do with this currency in order to make a little bit of WoW Classic gold. When you go in the Caverns of Time, you want to talk to Historian Ma’di and basically she will sell you a couple of items and there is one pet in particular that you can buy for 200 of timewrapped badges that you can then cage and sell on the auction house. So this is definitely something we would recommend you to get because you will be able to sell it throughout the year and if someone misses this event, they will probably buy it directly through the auction house. So this is something that you can really get easily because you will get 200 of these timewrapped badges on any of your characters that opens the package that you receive automatically. If you just go to the Caverns of Time, you can buy one of these stats cages and then sell it on the auction house, so definitely a good activity to do in order to have some extra pets to sell on the auction house and something you will only be able to do for the three next weeks and then you will have to wait probably for next year before you will be able to get this pet again.

Other Items

Finally, you have all these WoW 18th anniversary items that you can get. So you have the Crafted Cloak of War, you have Exquisite Costume Set, You have all these items that were already part of the previous WoW anniversary. So this is also something you can buy with these different timewraped badges. If you don’t have all these items, just get them!
