WoW TBC Classic is going to live on September 15, 2021. Phase 2 brings with it a lot of goldmaking possibilities, how to prepare for TBC Classic's Phase 2? or what are the gold farms preparations for Phase 2? Here we are bringing you the best WoW TBC Classic Phase 2 preparation guide that talks about gold making tips and tricks, this can end up saving you gold, plus items you can buy right now and re-sell in Phase 2 and make profits, as well as which consumables will be in demand in Phase 2 of TBC Classic!

TBC Classic Phase 2 Preparation Guide - Wow TBC Gold Making Farming

What you'll need regarding WoW TBC gold making for TBC Classic Phase 2 is that we are getting access to two new raids, Tempest Keep and Serpentshrine Caverns. Inside Serpentshrine Caverns, there are two boss fights where different resistances and magic protection is required, one of them might affect the entire raid like the debuff from Hydross which increases your magic damage taken, like the Mark of Hydross which increases your Frost Damage taken by 10% per stack. Both of these raids are also being tested in their pre-nerf states, meaning more challenging content, which opens up a market for consumables and you also have the Druid Flight Form coming out, which might mean a slight decrease in the price of certain farmable materials, albeit that shouldn't really affect the market too much overall.

TBC Phase 2 Frost Resistance

Start with the first boss of the Serpentshrine Caverns, Hydross, which is where the debuff Mark of Hydross comes into play, and you might see an increase in demand for Frost Protection Potions as these might end up being used on this fight. In this case, we have a TBC version of the Frost Protection Potions which are called Major Frost Protection Potions and will absorb 2800 to 4000 Frost Damage, and the materials for crafting this is Primal Water, Mana Thistles, and Imbued Vials.

Imbued Vials are a vendor item. Mana Thistles are horrible to farm as they only spawn in level 70 areas of specific zones. Thistle Farming showing off these zones. However there are only 1-2 spawns per location, and they have a 10 minute respawn timer, meaning the supply of these is actually fairly limited. 1 Primal Water and 3 Mana Thistles will give you 5 Major Frost Protection Potions, so if these end up becoming used a lot, the demand for Mana Thistles could skyrocket and go up a lot in price!

Now, in a Raiding Environment, you could also craft a Cauldron of Major Frost Protection which requires 2 Primal Water and 7 Mana Thistles to craft, but it also has 25 charges and can basically supply the entire raid with a Major Frost Protection Potion, for a much cheaper price than buying and crafting them individually. Keep in mind the Major Frost Protection Potion craft gives you 5 Major Frost Protection Potions. The Cauldron is probably about one-third of the cost of that, so you will be able to save some gold if your guild or group.

TBC Phase 2 Nature Resistance

Hydross also has a Nature Form, and you basically have the same debuff for Nature Form too, called Mark of Corruption. It increases your Nature Damage taken. In this case, you might see an increase in demand for Major Nature Protection Potions, which are created by Primal Life and Mana Thistles, it's one Primal and 3 Mana Thistles to craft a batch of 5 Potions. If your group wants to combine forces you can get a Cauldron instead of individual potions to reduce the costs. Crafting a Cauldron requires 2 Primals and 7 Mana Thistles.

TBC Investments from WOW Classic

During Classic WOW and invested in either Firebloom or Large Brilliant Shards to create Brilliant Wizard Oil, if they actually do release the pre-nerf versions of the raids, now might be the time to start offloading these, depending on how many you've invested in because harder content means more use of consumables as well.

Which Items To Sell In TBC

It’s the best if you hold off on Ghost Mushrooms until Elixir of Demonslaying goes big, but for Firebloom and Large Brilliant Shard, this could at least be the beginning of when you should offload your investments, so keep an eye out for the price of Large Brilliant Shards and Firebloom. If you've invested in them, start selling Brilliant Wizard Oils once you see a profit you're happy with.

TBC Health Portions & Mana Potions

The Bottled Nethergon Potions are not a terrible item to purchase, you can also trade in Coilfang Armaments for both Mana and Healing Potions to the NPC outside Serpentshrine Caverns, but you need Exalted Reputation with the Cenarion Expedition to buy things from him. One Coilfang Armament will give you 3 potions of your choice, one Coilfang Armament is selling for 6 gold on my realm, that would give us a potion value of 2 gold each, meaning if Mana Potion is selling for more than 2 gold on your realm, they're probably not worth buying.

Also, Coilfang Armaments drop from the Serpentshrine Cavern raid, so you will most likely see an increase in supply and therefore a drop in price for these, make sure be very cautious about stocking up on Healing or Mana Potions.

TBC Coilfang Armaments

And if you happen to play on a server where Coilfang Armaments are selling for a low price. Buying them now and re-selling them in Phase 2 might be a power move as people will need them for these potions. If a Coilfang Armament is cheaper than 3 Mana Potions right now, it could be worth picking up, because even if the supply goes up in Phase 2, the demand also goes up.

Epic Engineering Goggles Materials

Now for those of you who didn't get your Tier 4 Head Pieces just yet, or just for those of you waiting for the Epic Engineering Goggles, those are coming out in Phase 2. For some classes these are even comparable to Tier 5 Head Pieces, these are crafted items with Engineering, and the materials used in crafting them might see a small spike in price. Heavy Knothide Leather materials, and various Engineering items that require Khorium Bars, Adamantite Bars and Felsteel Bars to make, and two rare gems. The rare gems are different based on which goggles you want to craft, and for example, the Leather Attack Power Goggles require two Living Rubies, which are already quite expensive and in-demand.

Nether Vortex Crafted Items

Nether Vortex is the Primal Nethers of Phase 2 and will be needed to craft higher tier craftable items, both weapons and armor. The items you can make include Dragonstrike, Bloodmoon and Lionheart Executioner. You can also craft armor with unique effects, such as Bulwark of Ancient Kings. While these are crafted by combining the previous tier with a couple of Nether Vortexes, people who haven't crafted the previous tiers will need the materials to do so.

Some of the armor pieces from recipes that come from Serpentshrine Caverns and Tempest Keep also require a bunch of different materials. The best TBC classic phase 2 gold farming tips here would be to invest in some Heavy Knothide Leathers, Adamantite Bars as well as every Primal out there.

That is pretty much everything you need for farming gold in TBC Phase 2.  We should cover just about everything, you can do right now to make profits in Phase 2, stay tuned for aoeah.com!
